Where you file the transfer
Locally, with the county — online through Citizenserve. Yavapai sets its own transfer fee.

Call the county. Yavapai calculates fees according to adopted fee and valuation schedules, and the current schedule isn't posted in a form we could verify. 928-771-3214.

Yavapai handles conventional and alternative systems up to 24,000 gpd, and offers online transfer processing through Citizenserve. The county publishes sealed-septic guidance and its own setback table — worth requesting directly if you're installing.
