Where you file the transfer
It depends on when the system was built:
- Built 2001 or later → file locally with Coconino County EQ, electronically, checks to "Coconino County"
- Built before 2001 → file with ADEQ in Phoenix

From the county's 2021 fee schedule — confirm current amounts at 928-679-8850, as these are likely superseded.

Transfer fee: call to confirm. The county's published figure dates to 2021 and the county very likely adopted a new schedule after ADEQ's August 2024 change.
What's different here
- Subdivision-specific supplement sheets. Coconino issues area-specific requirement sheets — Tamarron Pines and Westwood Estates, for example — layered on top of the standard Notice of Intent. If you're building in one of those areas, there are extra requirements.
